WebEx requires activeX, so in order to use it with Firefox, you have to use IETab or IEview (use IE within Firefox) since WebEx doesn't currently work with IE8 it's not going to work with IE8 in firefox either.

I blame WebEx fully for this one. Their product only works with one browser and wont support the browsers current version. Not to say that IE is a great browser, pretty stupid to create a product around a single browser and then not make sure it's updated to work with the new version of the browser when it comes out.

I read somewhere that clearing "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks" will solve the problem.

Tools=>Internet Options=>Advanced(Tab)=>Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks(Under security group)

Uncheck(Disable) the Enable Memory Protection to help mitigate online attacks(Under Security Group)

IT WORKS! After the Plug-In is installed, you can Check(Enable) the option again.

Disabling memory protection allowed the plugin to install. I then enabled again and can still use webex.
