I have been using live messenger for some time on my new windows 7 operating system. Windows 7 has got new way of displaying the tray icons. It's a most welcome feature.
Unfortunately Live Messenger is not abiding the rule. The problem with Live messenger is when the application is opened, the task bar will have two task items displayed on task bar. When the Live messenger is closed by clicking on X close button, task bar will still have one task item left. When the user selects to close the other task item, finally the application will exit, rather than running in the background.
Is it an expected behaviour of Windows Live Messenger?
